I’m Angie

I was born August 8, 1967. My Mum and Dad had never heard of Spina Bifida. They where told of my disability after I was born. I had an operation to close my back when i was 2 days old. I got christened because the doctors thought that i wasn't going to live. The nurses named me Angela Patricia.

I also have Hydrocephalus but i don"t need a shunt. I was in plaster until i was about 6 or 7 months old.. I also have 2 hearing aids.. I wear glasses. I have spastic hips.

I have learning difficulties, .One of my kidneys don't work, so i had a bag put in when i was 5. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. I'm the only one with a disability. I also have seizures and memory issues as well. I'm a Auntie and a great auntie.
